Small Business Award Nominations
    Deadline for Nominations is April 6th at 11:59 p.m.

    The Annual Excellence Awards recognizes local companies who through creativity, innovation and a drive for success make an impact on our business community and the people that they work with. We will be honoring the Small Business of the Year - with additional
    special awards for Community Service, Innovation, and to the Employer of the Year. We will also recognize a leader from our nonprofit sector with the Charitable Partners Award.

    The criteria a business must meet before consideration includes:
    Small Business Awards (including Community Service, Employer of the Year, and Innovation)
    • Be a member in good standing with the Cary Chamber of Commerce
    • Have been in business for at least two years
    • Have fewer than 50 employees or less than $3,000,000 in 2017 sales
    • Be privately held - includes partnerships, LLCs, LLPs, C&S corporations, franchises and family businesses
    • May not have received any of these awards in the last three years
    Businesses will be judged on innovation, success, community service and work environment.

    Charitable Partners Award
    • Be a member in good standing with the Cary Chamber of Commerce
    • Have been operational at least two years
    • Must be a recognized 501 C(3)
    • May not have received a small business award in the last three years
    Charitable Partners will be judged on mission, impact, financial plan and success.

    **All businesses who are nominated will be contacted by the Cary Chamber to Fill out a Detailed Nomination Application.
