In the spring, the Cary Chamber of Commerce begins its' annual Membership Drive utilizing the sales talents of active members. Teams of volunteers are organized and set out to bring in the most new members as well as sell sponsorship opportunities to existing members. The Drive is theme oriented, hence activities and reporting sessions become socials that reflect the theme.

Teams and individuals are rewarded for their efforts with gifts, gift certificates, cash prizes and more. The top individual performers (responsible for bringing in the most new members, and/or highest dollar amount in sales) are then given a four-day trip for themselves and their spouses to tropical locales. Winners have enjoyed all expense paid trips to Cancun, the Bahamas and Key Biscayne. The 2004 planned trip will be to Jamaica.

Participation in this six-week program is open to all current members of the Cary Chamber of Commerce.
